Description
The Balcrank Evolution 50' x 3/8" Air/Water Hose Reel (2140-008) is a narrow, dual ball-bearing steel reel for daily shop air, water, windshield wash, and antifreeze service. It sits a step above the Axis / economy reels: steel pedestal and arm, pressure-balanced swivel, and a long-life power spring in a compact frame that still fits tight bays.
Rated 300 PSI (21 bar) low pressure. Inlet and outlet are 1/2" NPT(F) swivels; the 3/8" hose ends in a 1/4" NPT(M) outlet. Wetted parts are brass, acetal, and Buna-N. Every Evolution reel ships as a complete unit — hose, hose stop, and 2.5' connecting hose — so you can hang it and hook it up. Replacement hose is Balcrank 8136-050.
The spool rides on dual ball bearings. A rectangular roller outlet and multi-position arm let techs pull hose from the angle they actually work. Eight-position latching holds the hose where you stop it. On-site spring tension adjustment and straightforward service keep downtime short in dealerships, tire shops, quick lubes, and fleet garages.
